*Note on Kaiser: requires an authorization for you to receive covered external mental health services. I am credentialed as a Kaiser provider through Headway, an online service that helps people find mental health care providers who accept insurance. You will need to go to your local Kaiser Permanente Mental Health Clinic for an evaluation, to determine the care options that are medically necessary and appropriate, and let them know you want a referral to Headway. If Kaiser Permanente NorCal authorizes this referral, they will send it to Headway, as well as a copy to you, which will include the activation and expiration dates of the authorization. This will prompt you to book an appointment with a Headway provider (click below).
Insurance- Pending Approval
If you have one of below insurance types, I can place you on my waiting list and notify you once I am approved on your respective insurance panel.
If you do not see your insurance listed on here, it means that I am not paneled with them. However, I can provide you with a superbill at your request. How this works is that you would be charged at the self-pay rate (see above), then I would provide you with a monthly receipt for that prior month's sessions, which you can then submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. You can also use Reimbursify or Mentaya to submit your superbill.
